I live near Ft.Smallwood MD, USA and they have a field fenced off and it's just grass. I learned it's actually a Nike Missile [A non-nuclear but, powerful missile.] silo. And, I live near D.C. Ain't I the most protected man in the world. Except for celebrities and world leaders of course.
No way... in an attack.. that area will be one of the first ones hit!
Hate to burst your bubble but, the last NIKE missile was deactivated sometime around 1974. That silo is just an empty hole now.
Other than living next door to a police station, you probably are almost as safe as the president. Though you realize that a missile silo may be a military target if this country was ever invaded. So then again, maybe not!
