Want it badly, I hear there's an FX version or something coming out. Dunno what that is, but is the eight-core Bulldozer coming out Q2 as well? I'm primarily interested because I'm a gamer and want to upgrade so that my PC is powerful.
Sometime during the week of June 20, 2011. I don't think Bulldozer will have any integrated GPU. The AMD Fusion APUs do have GPUs on a single chip, but not Bulldozer. Or I could be ignorant to the fact and Bulldozer does have a GPU, but I doubt it. Even if it does the intrgrated GPU will ony affect the low end GPUs.
I highly doubt Bulldozer will be better than current Intel Sandy Bridge, especially core for core. Keep in mind, nearly every game out there uses from 1-4 cores max Either way, Sandy Bridge extreme in the last half of the year will easily be much better
I hear summer. The good news is that amd will probably (hopefully) price bulldozer based on the performance compared to sandy bridge cpus. If they're better than sandy bridge (which they're hopefully will be, since amd is using 32nm chips), all will be good. Amd will charge more, and for the first time in awhile, amd chips will compete with intel, starting a price war like the one we see between amd and nvidia. But in all honesty, sandy bridge cpus are more than powerful enough for any game In the near future. And If you really need more power, wait for LGA 2011 processors. They'll dominate amd. But If you want somthing In between, wait for bulldozer. And no, bulldozer wont have any integrated graphics, like sandy bridge or llano. If your a gamer, you dont want integrated graphics anyway.
