What is this new processor about?Does it have 10 cores?

AMD BULLDOZER will only have 8 cores
AMD Bulldozer will max out with 8 cores however AMD will be releasing a 10 Core enthusiast CPU late 2012, with the name of Pile-driver. The Pile driver currently looks like it will be boasting a 10 core option.
