Another science question, can someone please explain the method for steel-making from iron sand? 10 points!?

i think you mix iron ore and coal to make steel. I'm not to sure. but iron sand would first have to be heated and refined because it isn't the actual ore itself. so you would need to refine the sand into iron ore by heating it up and getting the raw material then mixing it with refined coal and then you get steeL?
They have a trueing stand you can buy.or you could just take it in to the local bike shop.Im sure they wont charge a lot.
