Question:

Anti-magnetic Material?

Is there such a thing as an anti-magnetic material, or magnetic field absorbing material? I have 7.1 speakers for gaming, but I use a CRT monitor (I‘ve used a decent LCD for 2 months, for gaming I went back to CRT(color quality)). I ask, because it of course, ruins my screen-over time.

Answer:

If your speakers are designed by a computer company or for computer use then they are magnetically shielded already. If not then be sure to space them approximately 3/4 of a foot away. Keep the subwoofer on the floor. Forget about wasting your money on field absorbing materials.
Rubber is not magnetic. Neither is paper. There you go, something about some anti magnetic material.
