Question:

anti-static bag alternative?

i have a motherboard i am sending in the mail but i do not have an anti-static bag they normally come ini was wondering what other material a motherboard could be placed/wrapped in?

Answer:

i agree with cathrl69you guys are keeping the room too warm, my son sleeps in a blanket sleeper so he stays warm and i keep the tem around 66 to 68, i turn it up during the days when he is awake!
I leave the thermostat on between 70 and 72 degreesIt's been pretty cold in NY for the last few days My son sweats all year round.but I prefer to be safe and keep him warm.since he tends to kick off his blankees.
I keep my daughters' room at around 72They seem to sleep best with the room a little warmer than usual.
I've actually started keeping the whole house at about 74f (at least according to my screwy thermostat) because my newborn -unlike his older brother- gets cold very easily and frankly you only want to put so many layers and so many blankets on a babyStill parts of my house randomly get cold and sometimes it seems like it gets very cold before the thermostat kicks inOne day I'll replace the stupid thing but it is practically brand new, though it is cheap (didn't buy it, it came with the house but I know it was installed with the new furnace) FYI my newborn was slightly early which is probably why he is so coldNormally I keep my house at 68ishBut I have to trust my midwife on this, not to mention the rest of us can wear less clothes.
well you need to mark it as being sensitive to electric shock and ask someone at the post office.the only thing i can come up with that would be found around home is aluminum foil which isn't great but it will prevent major shocksonce again ask someone at the post office
