If so, stay away from olive oil sprays because they burn at lower temps than other oils and are not very good for grillingStick with canola oil or a canola oil blend or something specifically created for grilling Spray the grill when it is cold, and wipe it with a cloth or damp paper towel to keep it from dripping down into the flames or catching fireWhen you are ready to grill your fish, season it, then spray the fish directly instead of spraying the grill for a second timePlace the fish on the grill and leave it for a few minutes before messing with itUse a fish spatula to gently loosen the fish and give it a 90-degree turnWhen it is cooked half through, season spray the top of it with your non-stick spray and give it a flipFish cooks really fast on an open flame There is a rule of thumb for cooking times: 10-minute per 1 inch of thickness and flip it half-way throughSo for a one-inch-thick fillet, cook 5 mins, flip, cook 5 moreThis is just a guide though, and you may have to cook it less than that if it is close to the flame or if your grill burns really hotIf this doesn't work for you, try putting the fish on a cedar plank and putting the plank on the grillThis will keep the fish from sticking since it isn't touching the grill directly, also impart a nice earthy flavorSalmon tastes particularly nice on a cedar plank(Soak the plank in water for an hour or according to the directions on the package before grilling or it will burn up).

If you can use 3 adhesive backed aluminum foil tape (what they use to seal heating ducts), try this: Take (2) empty soda cans and pull off the pop tabsUse a 3 square of the aluminum foil tape to seal the open endsSet the cans next to each other (sealed ends facing opposite directions) and use the aluminum foil tape to tape the cans together and provide a flat platform to place the pennies.
