Question:

Any memories of Sergei Zubov?

Hoisted the Cup with the Rangers and the Stars.Olympic gold medalist. What are your memories on his 41st birthday?

Answer:

He is considered one of the best offensive defensemen in NHL history. He played in the NHL All-Star Game in 1998, 1999, and 2000. He has also won two Stanley Cups, one with the New York Rangers in 1994, and the other with Dallas in 1999. In 1992, Zubov won a gold medal at the Olympic Games, playing for the Unified Team. He is also the NHL's all-time leading scorer among Russian defensemen, and the all-time leading scorer among defensemen in the history of the Stars franchise. He was always one of my favorite players, although he only played for my favorite team (the Penguins) for one season.
Leading point-scorer on the 93 - 94 Rangers As for Stars memories, let's leave this open to Jaguar ..
major piece of the 93-94 Rangers Cup team
Some questions are better left to Jaguar Jones Fine: I remember him being traded from Pittsburgh to Dallas for Kevin Hatcher. The only reason I remember this is because Dallas had Kevin and Derian Hatcher playing together, and that split them up.
This is a custom built question for me! 1. His abilty to do a no look saucer pass across ice and hit the target right on the tape.. 2. Watching him smoke a ciggarette with no hands while he gave me his autograph... 3. Telling him he was by far my favorite player of all time and him just answering good 4. What an assist machine he was the year the stars won the cup 5. How mad I was when I found out that the Stars would only sign him to a play to pay contract after he had so many injury prone season at the end.. 6. When he was arrested and rumors were flying that he attacked him wife with a knife.. (no idea what he actually did) 7. Despite being the Star of the game he never wanted to do inteviews and was exstreamly modest about his skill 8. Best Dman to never win a norris (IMO) 9. Great hands and a quick shot 10. EVERY rookie Dman that played on a line with him was always the stars best rookie that year
