Question:

Any substitutes for broken glass?

I'm doing a book report and I think adding broken glass on the poster would be a nice finishing touchsince most of the story is based on robbingBut I don't think glass would be suitable for a school project, maybeBut just to be on the safe side, what is a alternative for broken glass? Something that looks like its been shattered and is somewhat clear to opaque.

Answer:

Line the rack in the oven with foil and bake it on the foil.
Just place it on the oven rack it will cook ok!
it will be fine directly on the rack, the crust will be a little more crispy, but it will be fine
You can cut it to fit on the baking sheetOr you can cook it directly on the rack.
hard sugar candy looks like glass and can be shattered you'd probably have to make it yourself or use pieces of aluminum foil cut into shapes like a broken window
