Question:

Any suggestions on how to fix my honda door lock?

On the driver's side of my car, the door lock started to stick a lot. A handyman friend who knows a lot about cars sprayed it with something, and it worked a little better. Then, a few weeks later, the key started sliding right in, but the lock stopped working at all. (I have to enter through the passenger side now.) The same friend sprayed it again and said it worked once, but then stopped. Any suggestions on how to fix this affordably? I went to the Honda parts site, but there are so many parts for a lock. Can I just replace the cylinder? Can a handyman who knows something about cars do the work? It's a Honda 2005 Accord DX with manual doors. Thanks.

I /plumbing/ It's free and you will have to register but they walked me through a bathroom remodel and they are great guys!
Saw it off. Once you have a clean cut.they sell a compression coupling. It's plastic too. lowe's carries them. You will need to know the size of the pipe and PVC.then buy the coupling that fits over the ends. Once you have tightened each end it compresses over the pipe and PVC to keep it from leaking.
I found this happens to me tooI have recently started to not curl my lashes because of the hassle, but some people have naturally straight lashes. What I recommend is putting a light coat of mascara on then curling while your lashes are still wet then applying another coat on top to seal the curl. I also recommend a water proof mascara as they tend to hold the best. This works for me! I hope it works for you!
What you are describing is a chrome plated brass tube that was wiped into a lead pipe, not galvanized pipe. What you need to do, is open up the wall, and replace with PVC pipe. Remove the lead pipe, and when you install the PVC pipe, use no-hub fittings. These type bands have a rubber boot, with a stainless steel band over it, that tightens around the rubber, making a water tight seal.. This type band is approved for repairs inside walls, where as the rubber only, or Fern-co coupling is not approved for in wall repairs. good luck!
