The book tells you how to bake the 12 cookies My favorite recipie is still the Classis Chocolate Chip w/ MM's 1 cup butter 1/2 cup shortening 1 cup light brown sugar 1 cup white sugar 4 eggs 4 tsp vanilla 3 cups flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 4 cups chocolate chips (2 bags) 2 cups mini-mm's (1 bag) 1Prepare foil bases: Cut 2 pieces aluminum foil (heavy-duty)Press each sheet around the base of a pot or skillet about 12 in diameterTrim the upstanding edge to 1/2 highLightly grease bottom only(this will look like a disposable cake pan) 2Cream butter and shortening together until soft and well blendedBeat in sugars in turn, beating wellAdd eggs 1 at a timeAdd vanilla3Sift together flour, baking soda, bakind powder, and saltAdd to butter mixtureAdd the chips, reserving 1 cup, mix well4Chill dough for 1 hour5Place dough in center of foil panLeave about 2 inches around dough so cookies can expandScatter reserved chips over top of dough 6Bake 1 at atime for 25-30min at 350Cool on wire rack, remove from foil(trim browned edges while cookies are still warm if desired) Store cookies either on cardboard or doubled wrapped in foil so as not to break.
