I've taken up making things out of clay as a hobbyI've got a ton of colors, all Sculpey III brand.I've got a few questions, if anyone can help, that'd be great!-I have Sculpey brand glaze, how long does it need to sit out to dry for?-Can you underbake the clay if you take it out of the oven too soon?-Is it toxic? i.eIf my kitten licks it, is that really bad?-Can it sit out in open air for a couple days until I have time to bake?I've googled this before, and nothing has turned up.Hope someone can help! Thanks!
If you have shorter hair, you could use one of those really narrow straighteners/flat ironsAnd of course if you have longer hair that would work too but you might want to use a slightly thicker one to cover more surface areaYou would have to straighten it all the time I know, but your hair might get trained after awhile and be straighter, or at least be easy to straightenThe first few times it might take awhile to get it all straight.
A straightener if it is long enough PS: You have to be black to get it straight with a perm, btw.
Are you serious? It's called a straightener, buy one.and you do not need to be black to have it chemically straightened.
Hi, lets take one question at a time: First, the SculpeyIII clay is extremely brittle after bakingIt is a great in chunky items but do not use it in thin areas because it will breakYou would be better off using Premo or Fimo or Kato clayThe Sculpey glaze is great and it dries fairly quicklyHowever, you would be better off using Future Floor FinishMuch cheaperYou definitely can under bake the clayIt must be baked in an accurate oven 275F for Scuylpey15 minutes per 1/4 thicknessPremo takes 30 minper 1/4 thickness You cannot overbake it as long as your oven is accuratePlease use an oven thermometerPieces may be re-bakedYou can use rolled up aluminum foil inside your pieces to cut down on the amount of clay that you use Polymer clay is not toxicHowever, if your oven temperature goes above 300F it will release a toxic fume that can make you ill That's why it is so important to know your oven It won't make your kitten sickPolymer clay does not dry out when left out in the open airIt needs to be baked If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.
