Question:

Are dark or light eyes more sensitive to florescent lighting and bright sunlight?

my eyes are dark brown with light gold speckles and they are sensitive to the mentioned lighting situations. I basically have to look down or close my eyes.

Answer:

Lighter eyes are more sensitive too light. That is why usually very light blue eyed people wear glasses (not all the time but common) because they lighter your eye is- the more sensitive it is to brighter light. Hope I helped :)
It dosn't really matter what color eyes, but your personal eyes in perticular. My eyes are very sensitive to light and they are light blue. Hope this helps!
Dark Like goat eyes.
Generally, lighter eyes are more sensitive. An optometrist told me once it is like turning a light bulb on in a white-painted room versus the same wattage light in a black-painted room. The light appears brighter in the white room. This doesn't mean that your eyes can't be a dark color and sensitive though. I sympathize. I have light colored eyes and bright lights are actually painful to me.
