I got this book on spiritual housecleaning and it says to remove any object that may be associated with the devil - and I have a dirt devil brand vacuum cleaner - is this evil and do I need to remove it from my home? The only thing I do with it is vacuum the floor - and I don't have any other use for it.
Cover the word devil with duct tape and replace it by writing vacuum with a sharpie on the tape.
I'm afraid they are evil, but dust and grime and not vacuuming is more evil so on balance you should keep it and be clean.

I think there is a leprechaun named Kirby so that vacuum cleaner is out too. and for sure a Gargoyle named Hoover. Run, burn your house down and jump in the river. It is the only safe way to live.
