Are any of the various gas additives that are supposed to clean injectors worth the money?
Car experts say no. You wont get any improvement in performance, It will clean your fuel system though. (cloggs up over time if you never drive highway)
Quality fuel additives will do what they claim but be careful with how much and how often you use them. Follow their directions to the T, some gasoline additives actually will do more harm than good.
Gas additives can be good to remove gunk and clean out injectors but be sure to replace your fuel filter prior to using these products. Build up in filter can be washed away by the product and introduced into the injectors which is always bad. Otherwise, the products work great to clean out combustion chambers as well as fuel injectors.
Frist u could have oreder the wroung part and no that part dont fit that car so i would get the right part then fix it and take it another shop
