Question:

Are machine faced rims alloy so they won't rust?

I want to buy a set of Vision Wheels (rims) it says they are machined faced and they have a bit of gloss black paint on sides. I want them to be alloy so they won't rust like chrome will. I have tried searching google but can't find a straight answer. Here's a link to the ones I'm looking at :)

Answer:

Resin is a general term. What you have may not be intended for the purpose you propose; it may shrink/crack/peel. And yes, resin requires a hardener to activate it. Combining the two creates a chemical reaction that hardens the resin. You could try on one piece and wait a bit to see the result. If you like it, you could do more. But be warned. The results could change over time.
Wow,that seems really unsanitary to me.There should be a code of conduct book at your work for you to be able to get that information.I don't think it is legal, that's why they have others to do it usually or right before you go home.I wouldn't want to eat somewhere knowing my cook or waiter had just cleaned the bathrooms.
