Question:

are Mechanical pencils allowed in airplanes?

i want to bring a mechanical pencil but it is the heavy metal kind and it is made of aluminum that's what the package saysim flying in two days so i need all the answers i can get.

Answer:

Don't worry.it is absolutely safeIn fact I always put aluminum foil over the cookie sheet no matter what I'm baking okies, pies, quiche, pizzaI even line my pans with it when I'm making steak, fishsticks, potatoes, whateverWhen I'm done I just toss the foil.no mess, minimum cleanupEspecially with those cookie sheets.burnt sugar is difficult to remove without scrubbing and you don't want to scrub off any of the non-stick coating that may be on the sheets Same baking time.you don't need to do anything different.just spend less time washing.
Why not just clean it? Yes tho it is fine to do thatThey need the same time to cook if you wasnt using foil.
Yes you canI would sprinkle a little corn meal on it to prevent sticking and it adds tons of texture and flavor to your pizzaToo bad you don't have a pizza stoneWhy not just put it on the oven rack and forget the pan or foilIt will be a little crispy on the crust.
Yes its ok to put aluminum foil over a cookie sheet and then put it in the oven, I do it all the timeBake as normal.
Mechanical pencils do not pose a threat and are allowed onto the airplane.
