If you have first hand experience with these units, please advise. The idea sounds great; turn it on, leave the house, come home and the whole house is vacuumed, and the unit is back in its port being recharged. Do they do a good job? Do they miss areas like around the chair legs at the dining room table? Do you reccommend a particular brand? Please share your experience.
I think they are the best hing I ever bought. I just wish it could go up stairs.... but really worth it.and more good luck
I've seen one in action and I am not impressed. They take forever and are weak. It only takes a few minutes to vacuum. The $300 would be better spent on a real vacuum. Real vacuums are not only more powerful, but with all the hoses and attachments they come with it makes them much more versatile.
We bought a used 'ninety 4 Kirby in 1996. We paid $4 hundred. for it. i admire the effectual suction, even though it additionally comes with drawbacks. right here are my evaluations approximately this Kirby: a million. i do no longer in elementary terms like the fee of changing the filters (they're approximately $8. a bag and in elementary terms have 3 luggage in a kit. 2. it is not any longer effortless to alter from vacuum to utilising the hose. 3. it is form of heavy and cumbersome and does not maneuver surely. for my section, it is not any longer properly worth it. you need to purchase a bagless Dyson for around $500. and that they artwork super. Does the $1800. value comprise all of the attachments? do you like all those attachments? Are all of the bells whistles properly worth $1800.?
Mine does a great job. I have a Roomba Scheduler. Love, love, love it. I hardly ever have to vacuum the edges or anything because the dirt never makes it there because it vacuums everyday. So worth it.
They are very slow, don't do a good job on carpets and you have to remove chairs and other obstacles in the room. We feel its easier to just do it yourself.
