I know there are, but are there any light sensitive materials that react differently when exposed to light in its three forms (red, blue, green)? I am basically asking if there is a material that reacts to light, and if so, differently to red, green, and blue light, and produces different chemical or electrical output for each of the three.

A good example of a substance that reacts with light is vitamin D s produced by your skin in response to exposure to ultraviolet radiation from natural sunlight, another example of a substance is chlorophyl which absorbs energy from the sun light starting a chain of reactions called photosynthesis.
