Question:

Are wrestling title belts made of plastic?

The original Big Gold Belt is clearly made of metal. But belts these days look like thick plastic plates. And when wrestlers tap on them with their fingers in promos it sounds like plastic as well. The only current belt that doesn't look like plastic is the TNA TV championship belt. So are they plastic?

Answer:

The Real Ones are made of gold or metal The Toys One are Plastic
For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/awNjQ how many wwe fans are in your school? look you can come to school looking fresh, then mid year you'll be wearing the same stuff over and over again. like everybody does.... Now try sporting your best cloths from last year and around your waist is world heavy weight title. the real replica not a toy not foam not plastic as far as everybody concern you have the real thing on your waist. your good sneakers jeans and shirt won't even be a factor because you'll be champ Now after you get the belt. wait month and talk to dad. about getting you some school stuff. And when he brings up the belt. remind him of the deal. by you still being in school nobody your age is going to think your an idiot for wearing the belt. just don't wear it aroud your waist. wear around your shoulder. and when your in class strap it up and put it on the empty desk next you. make sure your teachers refer to you as sir, mr, or any other sign of resepect because that's what champ get. i bet the first deal had nothing to do with school stuff. and if he's still saying no. you make a new deal. trust me the last thing your parents want is for their children to go to school looking like a bum. this is a test. pick the belt and you'll still get school stuff. by you still being in school nobody your age is going to think your an idiot for wearing the belt. just don't wear it aroud your waist. wear around your shoulder. and when your in class strap it up and put it on the empty desk next you. make sure your teachers refer to you as sir, mr, or any other sign of resepect because that's what champ get. all else fails ask mom
The World Heavyweight Championship belt is designed after the Big Gold Belt, an iconic championship belt that had previously represented the WCW and NWA World Heavyweight Championships. It features a black leather strap with buckles to wrap around the waist of the wrestler who wears it, and three pieces made of gold.
Yes the original big gold belt that Flair Used in the NWA was made of gold. Now weather it was actually sold gold is another question. Since it cost like 25,000 to make it is likely that it was gold. Most of the title belts today are plastic with gold plating or color over them. This goes all the way back to the early 90's. All the original ECW belts were plastic. Gold is over 1000 dollars an ounce you think these companies pay that for a belt that could be stolen or lost in an airport somewhere?NO. When Cactus Jack went to ECW with the WCW tags belts and he spit on the belt and threw it on the ground you could hear it hit and it was plastic. Again with gold at over 1000 dollars an ounce you think companies are going to pay that? Some current belts are metal with gold plating. Like the TNA legends/tv title. TNA tags are plastic as well as the current TNA heavyweight title. Everything in WWE is a thick hard plastic with the exception of the current WWE version of their big gold belt. That is metal of some kind probably aluminium plated with gold.
