Question:

As a Real Estate Agent?

As a real estate agent in TN, can I sell personnel property or investment property or is this forbidding for agent to do? (Conflict of interest) If it is wrong can I start some sort of corporation and have the property owned by the corporation and then would I have access to selling the property?

Answer:

You can sell your own property. Just make sure on all your advertising that it clearly states Owner/Agent (this includes, print, Internet, signs, mls, etc) and provide a Personal Interest Disclosure to all potential buyers.
Let me get this right, you have a real estate license and are unsure what you can do? How did you get your license? You can sell personel or investment property, but have to clearly state that it is agent owned in any/all listings. Then it's not a conflict of interest, because you've stated the ownership. If you start a shadow corporation so you don't have to state that it's agent owned, it borders on fraud.
hey it's ur property your money
In michigan we have to disclose that the property is realtor owned
Anyone can sell personal property. You have to be licensed to sell someone elses real estate, unless you are exclusively on their payroll.
