I am trying to craft Washington‘s Battle Sword but I cannot get the right materials. How do I get iron ore and special iron ingot? Please help and thank you.
The Ore you can get from your stockpile buys either at a General Store (you unlock them for Convoys by buying or selling an item there) in a given zone, or at the Manor. The Special Iron Ingots are Unique. You get them only by completing Smith level-up missions (Homestead Missions) or a unique cache. The Special Iron Ingot Cache is located in a crate half way down a cliff. If you walk behind the Manor Stable you will see a cliff. Peer over a recess and you will see the crate. Drop down to grab it. It should contain enough in addition to all your level up missions to craft all your special items. If you have to prioritize, my favorite weapons in order are: Washington's Sword, Kidd's Sword; War Tomahawk*, Iron Knife; Royal Pistol, and French Coat Pistol. *The Broken Sword Knife has slightly better stats (+1 combo I think), but I like killing people with the Tomahawk, it looks awsome. Good luck! Here's a bit of Trivia: It looks as if they mixed up the graphic for the Sword. George Washington's Ceremonial Sword is kept at The Smithsonian Museum of American History in DC. I saw it last year, and the graphic in the game for Lincoln's Sword looks like the GW Ceremonial Sword. See link below.
