I was woundering is there a way to adjust the pressure of those automatic door closers usually found on the front door at like a small store or a hardware store, you know what I am talking about those things mounted on top of the door, is there a screw or something under that cover to adjust.
Yes, most models have adjustable levels of pressure to desired strength. Look on backside for a adjusting screw or nut and if your not sure you can also check the manufacturers website with model or serial number. Some have customer service 800 numbers that can guide you if your problems continue.....Good luck!!!
there is a cover over the entire closer. take the cover off. the arm that connects the closer to the door comes off (it will look like a wrench). remove the arm and reinstall it on the next notch this will let the door closer pull longer in order to close the door fully. is you desire the door to close faster then on either the back or the top or the closer there is an adjustment screw (depending on the model). most commercial closers are labeled to which way to turn to tighten or loosen for speed.
