Never put a CO detector by the front door! It will spit fireballs and kill you! The odious nature of CO detectors is totally un-holy. I can't believe they are allowed to sell them! I'm kidding, put it where ever you want. Putting it by the potential CO source is best, but anywhere is ok. Most people don't even have them.
