Question:

Baked Poatatoes? Help?

I am cooking dinner for a date tonight, She says she wants Baked PotatoesI have never made them, Please help someone!!!

Answer:

Buy a used tranny before you end up needing to spend the money on a tow truck.
replace the casenothing out there to do a quick fix.
if there was no oil in the case you could probably alumaweld it but then again the case might be magnesium or an magnesium alloy.
If you drain the transmission and clean the area thoroughly with brake clean or carb clean and then fill the hole and surrounding area with Permatex Ultra Black silicone, let it sit 24 hrs before filling it will last foreverUltra Black is oil resistant and will last longer than that crap JB Weld and all the people that are about to give me a bunch of thumbs downThere are a few things like Plasti Dip, Optima Batteries, JB Weld, and Seafoam that have attained mythical internet status but they are all garbage.
First, wash the potatoes under running waterDry them with paper towelsPoke at them with a fork to put tiny vent holes in themWrap them individually in aluminum foilBake them in a 425 F oven for about an hourIf you slightly squeeze the potato and it feels soft, it means it's doneAlways use an oven mitt, and have a nice date!
