Yes its actually supposed to be better then metal piercings and the bioplast (thats what the plastic jewelry is called) is supposed to make it heal faster, minimize stealing and reduce chances of infection. so everyone who is saying no; shutup.

Bioplast belly rings, by the way, come in different colors, as opposed to PTFE which comes only in white. * * * So as you can see, you really don't have to worry about having a plastic belly ring. Most likely the one you have is a Bioplast one, so it's totally safe and OK! Hope this helps, Robby
