our hotel has these types of doors and after 30 minutes or so they get stuck open. i've cleaned the tracks, flipped the knob around a few times and after a little bit they are stuck again. is there something i'm missing, or do i need to call the door company for repairs?
Hi, I work for Besam UK. It is possible that in a hotel you may have an access control solution or similar on the entrance door? It could be that the interface between this and our system is not set up correctly. Our Sliding Product has a monitored battery backup that fails safe the door to the open position whenever it identifies a problem. I would recommend that you contact our office on 01932 765888, if the door is within it's warranty period, we will happily attend site and rectify the issue, if not our office can give details of the costs for us to attend.
