well there isn't really a mascara for beginners but each brand works better then others depending. i like Maybelline Rocket, CoverGirl LashBlast, and Colossal Volume Express Cat Eyes if not, experiment with different ones until you find the one that is just AMAZING for you!
Check out Maybelline. It's the king of drugstore mascaras. Personally, I like Falsies, The Rocket, and Cat Eyes.
