Question:

Bleaching my hair in chunks with aluminum foil?

i got hair bleach because i wanted to make chunks of blonde in my hairThe brand is Born Blond by Clairol.i was wondering if it would mess my hair up to apply it only to certain places of my hair, but to wrap it in aluminum foil while it sits so it won't affect the rest of my hair? Thanks:]

Answer:

i wouldn't suggest it - it is possible thoughsafe, maybe, really bad for your health.
LMFAO!!! You don't wanna smoke tobacco!! :P Lol, well, yeah you canThere are many ways you can smoke tobaccoYou can use a can, apple, or shape the aluminum foil into a pen shape, make a little bowl for it, smoke that wayhaha I would just suggest using a can or an apple though if you can't get a swisher ;) As for the safety, i've heard that smoking out a can isn't good so maybe the aluminum has something to do with it? But generally, aluminum foil can stand really high temperatures so i think you should be fine.
Bleach always messes up your hairThink of it this wayYour hair shaft is a tube, your color is pigment balls inside the tubeRed is the largest pigment, it's a tennis ballYellow is the middle sized ball, it's a pool ball, and the smallest pigment is blue, a golf ballBleach is like acid your pouring on the tube to poke holes in it like a swiss cheese so that the balls fall out, when all the pigment falls out, you have whiteThe first pigment to fall out is the smallest, the blue, then the yellow, and finally the redThe darker your hair, the more the acid has to chew away, because it means you have more pigment to fall outThere is no way to leave hair healthier after bleachingIt always damages the hairTo what extent depends on the product you're using to lighten it, the timing, and your hairBleach swellsIf you are applying bleach, make a patch test first to see how your hair will respondApply the bleach 1/8 of an inch off the scalp, use conditioner to keep foil in place to section off the hair you don't want lightened.
