Question:

Buying a house with all copper piping stolen.?

I haven‘t gotten any price quotes yet, but I know it‘ll be way cheaper just to replace it with PVC piping or something like that. What are the benefits of copper piping over PVC/plastic?The hosue is 2 stories, 2700 square feet, so it is kind of a big job. What price range am I looking in? It has two bathrooms

Answer:

Copper is an essential nutrient for the body. Copper also handles hot water without the expansion/ contraction that can destroy your entire plumbing system. The copper piping will run into the thousands of dollars to install. If you do install PVC hot water piping and you find a plumber crooked enough to install it on the hot water circuit, be prepared to spend a lot more on plumbing in your future as well as clean up plumbing leaks. And we all know how bad PVC is for the body, especially for unborn babies (birth defects).
Cost is one - copper is a metal highly sought after and its price is governed by market forces of the metal industry. Correct on the pvc.The only draw back to pvc is the chemical residue of the piping that bleeds into the water.I think but not sure that the housing industry and hud have manufactured a chemical free pvc pipe out of environmental and housing standard concerns.Copper is of old hud materials whereby the new and improved pvc is the recommended material but then again you have to glue the parts together and the glue is highly toxic. So its your call.Bottom line is health vs cost.Copper better health and more money while PVC health hazard and less money.
i have tried it on my wavy and curly hair. it doesnt give the desired resultit leaves the hair dry and untidybetter go for permanent hair straightening provided by companies like Lo'real
Definitely use PEX, I've been using it on new builds and remodels for the last 4 years and can't say enough good about it. Inexpensive to buy, install and repair. Labor costs if they can snake the walls w/o busting out rock or lathe should be in the 1k-3k range depending on where you live and your house. Repairs on existing pex is so simple a caveman can do it. (Sorry Geico)
