I will be camping on the beach for my first time, I'm really excited and nervousIt will be on the peninsula in N.California.any wildlife that may be a threat? I've heard some animals become aggressive if they smell female hormones?Any pointers/ stories/ advice?THANKS :)
If your oven has a mixed mode (both microwave and baking at once), my Sharp has a button that says LOW MIX/BAKING, then use the following recipe: 125g softened butter (1/2 cup) 1 tsp vanilla essence 1/2 cup caster sugar 2 eggs 1 1/4 cups plain or cake flour 2 tsp baking powder 2 Tbsp milk 1) Preheat convection microwave to 160 C(160C is about 320 F) 2) Grease a 20cm (8 inch) round cake pan3) Cream butter, vanilla, and sugar until light and fluffy4) Add eggs one at a time5) Sift the dry ingredients togetherAdd half at a time6) Stir in milk7) Pour in the prepared panPlace in oven on low rackBake on Low Mix for 17 minutes at 160 C.
Animals will not get aggressive bc of female hormones, although a female animal will become aggressive if its young are nearby Tent stakes are useless in the sandYou can tie a small plastic grocery bag to the corner of the tent and fill it with sand oy buy one of those round aluminum pie pans poke a hole in the middle pass a string through the hole and tie a knot so it doesnt slip out of the holeTie the other end of the string to the corner of the tent and bury the pie panBring baby powder, even if you are not in the wtaer you`ll be damp from the salt sprayKeep yourself dry to prevent chafing and blisters.
