My friend needs to find this out for a homework assignment and says she needs 2-4 bits of information on each one. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me so I can pass the info onto her.
it makes it loud, that's about it. a lot of ricers like to pretend they add significant amounts of horsepower, but you're only looking at about a 3hp increase max. they can also increase mpg, but once again the increase is extremely minimal. KN makes a variety of cold-air intakes for many different cars, you can probably get one for yours if you're still interested. honestly, it's not worth the money unless you really want your car to be louder for cheap(although they do sound really good in certain cars).
I can't believe that someone is so unfamiliar with those things they could not ad-lib a couple of phrases for each. Within a couple of minutes you could whip out those answers yourself since you have probably seen them also.
