1. Key lime pie 2. Cevice: raw fish cooked in lime juice - you need lots of lime juice for this one. 3. Mojito: cocktail 4. Lime granita: juice of 14 limes, 300 grams of sugar, the zest of one lime and 1 quart of water. Dissolve the sugar in the water, add the lime juice and put in the freezer. Mix with a fork as it freezes (you'll have to check it as it freezes) to keep it a slush. Eat as is or mix with your favorite poison.
The most delicious drink of course! In India I loved drinking the fresh lime juice drink from the street vendors. It's like home made lemonade but as well as sugar you add some salt and probably use more water. It's an acquired taste, but the salt really makes it good. I make it at home and it is so refreshing when it's hot. You're so lucky to have lots of limes. They are 50c each where I am!
I made this one up myself- 3 Limes Lime Or Rainbow Sherbert Large Ice cream bowl Sprite First cut up one lime and scoop the sherbert in the ice cream bowl. Then Add the Sprite , take a piece of the lime and get all the lime juice in there , following each piece of the first lime! And that is it , it is easy , Not expensive , and delicious , i call it Lime Float!
Margaritas from scratch - yum! Freeze the juice, if you have any left over.
This can be frozen for later use. Fresh Limeade 1 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice 4 cups cold water 1 1/2 cup Equal Spoonful or sugar Ice cubes 6 lime slice twists 6 mint sprigs Mix lime juice, water and sweetener; refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice in tall glasses; garnish with lime slice twists and mint. Note: Limeade can be frozen in ice cube trays; the cubes can be used with the limeade so it will not be diluted. Also, the ice cubes can be processed in a blender or food processor to make a delicious lime slush.
