hair line cracks in cylinder between valves can it be fix by bar leak
Certainly welding is the best way, but - DO NOT attempt it without removing the pan, and getting ALL the oil off things. To not remove the pan invites an explosion, not get all the oil off, a fire. Has been many an engine destroyed by some guy trying to repair it and not knowing what he was about. Best repair on bike, is to wash clean with a solvent, carb cleaner, or such, V the crack out a bit, and fill with a good epoxy, JB Weld, PC-, or such. Best NOT to use one of the quick set types. Then, a second application, cover an area an inch or so each side of the crack. Let cure overnight before riding. Tomcotexas. t
It would not be able to due to compression of cylinders. The stuff is for sealant leaks or hoses leaks like that, you have a mechanical failure and need a new head.
Won't do a thing, try Lucas or TransMedic.
I wouldn't count on it. Think of it this way. An engine produces controlled explosions. It would be like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound. It won't work because if there was a magic solution in a bottle to fix cracks in cylinders, machine shops would be out of business. It's what I call snake oil.
