Question:

Thrash Metal?????????

Can Blast beats be played in Thrash metal? and what is the difference between Thrash Metal and Speed metal?

Answer:

one is a metal and one is a nonmetal
The only real difference is the energy level of the valence electrons. In a metal the electrons are free to move. In a non-metal they are not free to move.
metal is shiny and nonmetal is dull metal has high melting boiling point nonmetal has low melting point metals are strong and nonmetals are weak metal forms an positve ion and nonmental forms negative ion metals are malleable and nonmetals are brittle
metals are strong and nonmetals are weak
to add on to the guy above^ metals are conductive and nonmetals are insulative the bonding of the two are different different crystal structures (metals are bcc, fcc, or hcp) Also, I wouldn't say nonmetals have a lower melting point than metals. Just think about refractories in a furnace. They have to have a higher melting point than the metal so they don't melt, right?
