Can Blu ray disc be read by ordinary computer CD driver?
DVD can be played by a home DVD, and a computer can. By the way, Blu ray player is down compatible.
Blu ray can only be played by Blu ray players. If your computer is not equipped with blue CD-ROM, is not possible.
DVD is DVD, blue light is blue light, and two different mediums.
