I feel as though i am in a state of deteriorating mental health. When i am at work i am having high levels of anxiety ups and brooding depression downs. I am currently looking for someone to see. But i am trying to do my research as i do not just want to go to anyone without knowing they are good. So in the mean time i am having a hard time focusing and doing my work. Even having a hard time getting myself to work. I am wondering if i can be let go without any legal recourse for my mental health impeding the job that i am doing, Or if i take time off because of medical issue like this if i am liable to lose my job. Any advice in this matter or help would be greatly appreciated as i have run out of ideas. Thanks.

Well, it depends really. Is it the type of alarm that would go off if tampered with? Also, what happens if there really is a fire and that alarm could have saved some of your house. The fire department will see that it is covered and insurance will not cover it. If you still want to cover it, try something that is breathable so that the alarm doesn't start to go crazy and go off by itself or anything. You could also try just painting it, or putting the decorative part of a clock over it without the clock face. Have you tried to remove it at all? Also, you make it sound like it is on the door. Is it?
