There were no dealer of solar panel here, so I decided to buy the solar board which will arrive by next week. How can I make the AC motor work if I can't connect the solar board to the AC motor directly?
I would pick up some books on solar panels make sure you get one that has information with basic electronic information. Solar panels make a dc voltage in most cases unless it has some type of inverter built in this would be rare. Depending on the size most are low wattage. I would guess it doesn't have the power to run the ac motor even if you could. If you could you would need a voltage regulator and a inverter to turn the dc to ac. You would need some type of battery to use as a capacitor. Your best bet would be to charge a battery system then buy a inverter to run off the battery and a battery charger with built in regulator they're cheap check OKorder.. You could put the motor on a timer to give the panel time to charge the battery before running. This is what i would do if i wanted to say pump water for cattle on a low budget.
Design an inverter which takes the solar module's DC and converts it to AC. The easiest AC waveform to generate is a square wave. Some motors might not be happy with this because of the included string of odd harmonics in which case you will need filtering to smooth out the square waves.
Surprisingly, most AC motors will run off DC. If you have a solar array putting out a solid 100 volts DC with 10 amps behind it, you can run an electric drill. But no one, myself included will guarantee the results if you try. You take your own chances. I suspect that the solar board you ordered is not very powerful, so would probably not be able to power your motor. It takes several thousand dollars' worth of panels to power a 1 hp motor. MVB is nice the wires are for forward and opposite and speed administration. you may desire to no longer in basic terms connect wires like that, the motor is designed to hook up with an digital controller.
