Question:

Can I get a Wi-Fi amplifier?

Ok, here's the sitchI'm using my neighbors wireless internet( I've talked it over with her, she's a nice lady, so it's cool)But the signal is really bad and thus the internet is slowIs there some kind of device I can buy that will amplify her signal so I get it stronger? I'm not super rich, either, or else I'd pay for my own internet.BTW, I'm using a Compaq Presario notebook.

I'm so inspired with this productIt was once on sale for $five.ninety nine I might quite advise getting itGet the transparent variety, do not get the milk or something it's, it is greasyBut the serum is notIt's well I promise.
The only suggestion I have (for cheap) involves having access to the wireless routerYou can make a really inexpensive amplifier out of some card stock and aluminum foilCut the card stock into a shape that will allow you to fold the top and bottom edges once you punch holes in both side as these two holes will slide over the routers antenna (think satellite dish style) then coat the card stock with adhesive and glue the aluminum foil to the card stockOnce it dries slide the routers antenna through the top and bottom hole you punched in the card stock and curve the card stock towards the direction you want to strengthen the signalThe aluminum foil with deflect the signal moe in one direction giving a slight increase in Hz in that directionNothing massive, but it's noticeable and cheapI'm willing to bet there are some videos on how to do this on youtube.
