Can I get an go-ahead from an expert on my PC set-up?
I buy ALL my fabric at WalMartThey have the same fabrics as Joann's, and it is half the priceWe have two WalMarts in my areaOne of them is closing down their fabric department; the other one is keeping it open for nowThey told me the best way to keep the fabric dept open is to call 1-800-WALMART and complain and ask them to keep it openShe also told me it is a nation-wide decision; they are getting rid of the fabrics to expand the craft supplies.
Ditch the 5400 RPM hard drive and spend the few extra bucks for a 7200 RPMEspecially for heavy protools uselots of reading and writing involved with audioDitch McAfee and grab Norton 360Google Dennis Technology Labs for proof that Norton is superior, resource-wise and detection-wiseSince 2009 when Symantec got their crap together, Norton has excelled at detection and low resource usageMcAfee has slipped terribly with threat detection and uses easily 4 times the resources when running idle.
I've bought some fabric at WalMart, but I'll admit, it's for stuff like costumes, etcI wouldn't buy fabric I sew my quilts from WalMart, and I definitely wouldn't buy fabric I sew clothing from WalMartAs far as I know, our WM isn't getting rid of their fabric, but I honestly wouldn't care much if they didI can get the same stuff at JoAnns or Hancocks, for roughly the same price.
I live on Long Island and our walmart is not going to be selling fabric anymoreI also heard that they put the company they buy fabric out of business.
Hi, I use to purchase my fabric at WalmartOur local Walmart still hast fabric, however, I also buy at JoAnnn's Fabric or Handcock's FabricSome of the Walmart's, like yours, may be getting rid of the fabric department if it is not making enough profit on itAlot of times, there is more fabric that gets reduced in price that there is for full price on the shelves I would call and talk to the managerI am sure he/she would happy to explain to you what has happened to this department and why Good luck :)
