I have heard that there is plenty of money to be made in real estate investing but I don't really know how true this is. I really want to know before I put in my hard earned money.
If you have capital to invest, and are a wise investor , then it's possible. But do your homework before you put one dollar on the table.
I have invested in real estate rental property for the last 25 years. It is a long slow process for me because I have been very careful. I am not rich- but the money has helped support me and I still own the properties.
Like the old joke goes, it is easy to make a small fortune in real estste: start with a large one. Bottom line is that while it may be possible to get rich in real estate or any other field, there will be nothing easy about it. And nothing certain. And it will probably take far more of an investment of money and effort and take far longer that you would ever anticipate. So you better get at it right away. Good luck.
