I know you aren't supposed to mix beer with hard alcohol, but would it be okay to have beer with a bud light lime a rita? Or would that be mixing??? Someone please answer, as I'd really like to know.
oh wow I buy coffee from starbucks everyday yet I never noticed that
The best I could give you as an answer is that the word Kaffir probably taken from the word Kafer in German..means Bug. I read about it..that's all I can say. :) It's halal to drink tea mixed with it. By the way..SBs should stick with just coffees, its tea drinks suck so bad. Xp
It is a very common cooking ingredient where I grew up... both the leaves and the fruit which are a little like European limes, but much smaller and much more subtle in taste.(A little like lemon grass, perhaps) I have some in the freezer for cooking. It is known in the Philippines as Kieffer lime which became Kaffir lime in England. I don't think the word has anything to do with Arabic. the Arabic kafir does not have a double F, and it simply is a coincident that the words are so similar. (There is also a yoghurt drink common in southern Russia and Georgia called Kefir, completely unrelated...)
