Yes you can make it in a saucepan or a frying pan both must have a lid or your popcorn will just fly everywhereThis can't be done with microwave popcorn but only with popping corn, you can get it at the supermarket and you put in a little oil or butter with the popping cornthats the way it was made before microwaves were invented
