I have a few ceramic tiles on my kitchen backs plash that do not match my new kitchen color. Can I paint them? If so, how? Thank you.
You can paint anything. How long it will stick is another matter. Ask at a paint store and tell them what you are painting. You must clean the tile clean first.
Use the KILZ Premium primer a late paint, after first washing well. I found the TSP cleaner now in a liquid at lowes. the paint store guy didnt think it existed.
Ceramic tiles can be painted. There is even special paint to do this with. Just check out the paint section of your local hardware store or talk to one of the staff.
Hi! Just saw this post on another forum: Painting tile will work IF... * It's very clean/dry/dull, and the grout is the same. * Soooo, sand the tile with a 220-sponge, remove all dust, and inspect/repair grout. Lightly wash other areas too let dry. * Prime all areas with BIN (shellac-based) primer from Zinsser.
Hi all, your question is quite intrusting in my opinion yes you can paint the ceramic tile but before painting on it first see the tile that the tile is not wet or if you want more information I search a web on net I think it will help you this web tell all about different types of tile, marbles and ceramic so if you were interested visit the website which is given below.
