Question:

Can I paint resin and then glue it?

I'm making resin eyes for a plushie, and I'm having a horrible time trying to figure out how to attach them. I'd like to paint the back of the resin with acrylic paint and then glue a plastic safety eye (sanded flat, of course) on the paint, but I don't know if it'll be strong enough. I'm so worried the glue might pull the paint off and ruin it, please help! :(

Answer:

hey i think i know that guy! i think if his face is blurred you can probably send it in.
The added issue of having a metal rod in your spine when being struck by lightning would be minuscule compared to the overall systemic effects. Persons struck by lightning can have cataclysmic cardiac and peripheral nervous system damage, up to and easily including, cardiac arrest and death. Brain activity is often greatly impaired and, if they survive, they often have long-term memory and perception loss. Not to mention motor activity deficits, seizures, respiratory affectations, organ damage, and visual impairment/blindness. BTW: The added damage from your spinal metal rod is that the lightning will superheat the metal and cook your spinal cord. (No, the rod will NOT act as a lightning rod and attract the lightning to you!).
It would hurt and perhaps kill you.
