So, I'm 38 weeks pregnantLast night I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about how my cat has been trying to get into the bassinet, and it has me worried that once the baby is here, he might try to curl up into the bassinet at night with the babyMy kitty is very sweet, and means no harm I'm sure, he just can't resist small box types things (like a bassinet!)I'm wondering if I draped a sheet over the top of the bassinet would that work to keep the kitty out and the baby safeIt has a canopy top, so it would almost be like a tent over the baby.Believe me, if we locked the cat out of the room, he would howl and howl all night long, and none of us would get any sleep at allBesides, he knows how to open the doors in our house. Is this a good idea?
This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard a politician sayFord built the automobile before there were paved roadsIt was Ford and automobiles that necessitated road in the first placeThere were roads for horses and carriages in America before America was America, and bridges, and businesses, and news outlets, before the government had even been establishedAnd the freeway system hadn't even been thought of until full on 50 YEARS after automobiles hit the streets Phones were invented before interstate lines for telephones were necessary, and The Pony Express, guys who delivered mail across state lines, before the USPS All in all, it is the ingenuity of humans whose inventions necessitated the government controlling, for lack of a better word, the interstate dealings of the postal service, telephones, transportation, etcthe government was not needed for these things until American individuals invented them And yes, I did build themWith my tax moneySo did youSo did we allAnd with all the tax money that we all pay, why are our roads falling apart? Bridges on the verge of collapse? Infrastructure seriously lacking? Because government is ineptIt takes the humans to make the govt work, such as it is By the way, income tax didn't get instituted until 1913 in the first placeHow did the govt manage all these things before income tax??
Starting as soon as possible, so you have enough time before the baby's born, line the entire bassinet with aluminum foilWhen the cat jumps in, he'll be frightened by the feeling and noise of the foilA few tries of that, and he won't want anything to do with the bassinet [Obviously, take the foil out before you put the baby in] :) EDIT: Ella's Mommy, your baby is adorable! EDIT: Jaiden Eats at Mommy's, what a cute name!
