Question:

can I put lime pellets with my new seeds and fertilizer?

I live in CT and my new home has a bad lawn so we ripped out everything with a tiller and put down a seed fertlizer and mulch in one. Can I add lawn to this?? It is early april and like 5o degrees here? Also, when can I apply grubex. Im starting to notice grubs, not a lot but some as I go

Answer:

It would not be my first choice because when I think of cherry, I think of class and elegance but today it can be Shaker or Colonial. Although cherry wood may seem more fit for traditional designs this can be your canvas where you could splash on all your artistic juices, if your furniture does not have elaborate details of traditional furniture, for a contemporary setting. Lime green is modern so oranges, purples, pinks, blues or aqua would add an extra pop of color. Buy some chair cushions, pillows, rugs, vases and artwork using one of those bold colors. Hang green and white curtains and punch it up with your accents. You could choose brightly colored bedding in shades of orange, yellow and blue for example. Aqua pairs surprisingly well to create a fun, refreshing look so you could choose a lime green chair with aqua pillows, and enhance a lamp with an aqua shade.

I would go with something that is going to contrast the color on the wall so that the room isn't to dark. If the room is small then I would go with a cream color or pale yellow, something like that. If the room is larger you could go with an eggplant or maroon color. If you are going for contemporary I would suggest the cream or eggplant. The yellow or maroon may give off to much of a country cottage look if the shape of the couch isn't comtemporay enough. Also, if the room is large enough you could go with black leather but you want a good size room for this. Ikea has reasonably priced furniture and most of it is contemporay but I am not sure about the quality. I would try someplace like Rooms To Go, Havertys or The Room Store. They will have a large selection of different styles and multiple choices in what ever style you choose. If you are just wanting to add to your existing furniture then I would definately go with either cream or black leather that way it doesn't blend in, but won't stand out to much. Good Luck and have fun shopping!!!
Sounds wrong to me. I have cherry furniture in the master and painted it a smoky blue. I looks beautiful.
that would look weird but Id like it. Your caution is only to like paint a fourth of the wall of the room in lime green, b/c, (PERsonally, i believe lime green could be ok, but the whole room, now that would be a disaster). Maybe just a lime green 3/4th`s inch border, or a 14 inche border of lime green. dont make the whole thing. but i think lime green could be ok. wont sell..
