I am wondering with all the shot gun shell changing over to aluminum can they be reloaded like brassAnd I guiess they dont last as long.

Shotgun shells generate 1/4 the chamber pressure that even a mid-range rifle doesThey're so low pressure that the metal on a hull is next to useless alreadyAll the metal does is provide a secure rim for extractionThere have been all paper hulls as well as all plastic ones.no metal at all beyond the primersAs long as the aluminum wasn't majorly split and I could fire the reloads in the same weapon to avoid too many resizings, I'd have no qualms at all about using aluminum based hullsMy biggest concern would be that the primer pocket would stretch outI'd start off reloading them with some of the smaller diam primers and work my way up to the larger onesBut I'm of the generation that used to use fingernail polish on Win 209's to fit Fiocchi over-sized pockets.
