Can I substitute a glass casserole dish covered with aluminum foil for a cake pan?

My regular cake pan is missing, and I need to make a cake asapCan I put aluminum foil in my square, glass casserole dish and use that to bake the cake instead?If so, do I need to make any adjustments to the temperature/cooking time?

It does but, is so thin and has a large area causing the heat to rapidly dissipate into the air .it can be handled almost as soon as it's removed from the oven.

It does get hot, but foil is so thin, it cools that quicklyAluminum as a metal doesn't hold heat long anyways, and when its that thin, it can't hold it long at all.
