my parents own a hardware store and we have plenty of copper piping. i was wondering if i would get the same great sound of a slide just by using some copper pipe. THIS GOES OUT TO ALL GUITARISTS!!!!
Why not try it out and see if you can find something that has a good tone? Then you can put a sticker on it and sell it for lots of money.
Maybe but I think it may be to soft. I use brass or glass. But try it out you never know.
Sure it will be fine, just a bit more jangly/metallic sounding than polished stainless or glass.
